Sometimes the best events are the ones that push you out of your comfort zone.
Recently, I had the chance to speak at Terrain's Halloween styling event at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and it reminded me why stepping into the spotlight is always worth it.

Speaking on a panel with the Brown Stone Boys and Jarema was such a highlight.
I'll be honest, it had been a while since I spoke in public, so the nerves definitely kicked in beforehand. But once we got started, the conversation flowed naturally and it felt great to connect with everyone.
The flowers and decor were absolutely stunning, which honestly shouldn't surprise anyone since it's Terrain we're talking about.
They really went all out with the Halloween styling, creating this perfect blend of spooky and sophisticated that felt totally on brand. This connects to another piece I wrote: Hello, Fall!.
One of the coolest parts was the little terrarium making station they set up. It gave everyone a chance to get hands on and create something beautiful to take home.
These interactive elements always make events so much more memorable.
The Terrain Halloween event was a perfect reminder of how much fun it can be to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. From panel discussions to hands on activities, it had all the elements that make an event truly special.
